Join us for Choral Evensong at Westminster Abbey at 5.00pm Monday, 29 July, for what will be one of the highlights of the year for the choir.

Westminster Abbey presents a unique pageant of British history – the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. It has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and for numerous other royal occasions, including sixteen royal weddings.

An architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries, the present building dates mainly from the reign of King Henry III.
