Concerts

The St James's Singers have tackled a wide and challenging repertoire over the last twenty five years, from the huge demands of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and the B Minor Mass of Bach, to the smaller needs of Purcell's Dido and Æneas and the Motets of Bach.

In addition to these major works the choir has also premiered works by composers such as Guy Woolfenden, Stephen Hancock, Paul Walton and Russell Pascoe, as well as by their conductor, Julian Harris.

2010 is the choir's Silver Jubilee year, and the season started with George Frideric Handel's Messiah. at Easter This was followed by two charity concerts in May and June.

The autumn season is launched with a Gala Concert, and in December the choir will perform Bach's Christmas Oratorio followed by the tradtional Christmas Concert on the 22nd December. All the major concerts are at St Mary's Church, Warwick.
